Evert Ypma (Switzerland) is a design researcher, lecturer and conceptual strategist. He consults public and private sector with design strategies and identity questions. Between 2005-2010, he led an international oriented postgraduate research programme on identity, design and representation (Multiplicity & Visual Identities). In 2011, he was visiting lecturer at the University of Technology, Sydney. Evert has been member of the Cumulus VisCom working group and is on the advisory panel of Iridescent, Icograda Journal of Design Research. Since April 2012, Evert is the Programme Head of the transdisciplinary programme ‘Camera Arts’ at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences of Art and Design. Based in Zurich and Amsterdam, Evert finds himself on a regular base in Singapore and Bangkok.
